What do I need to wirelessly connect my PC to the Blackhawk?
A desktop or laptop computer that has a 2.4 ghz WiFI enabled radio set on DCHP.

How do you view streaming video on the PC once a connection is made?
First install the Bosch MPEG-X software from the Blackhawk Security Client CD, and then open Internet Explorer. Now using the IP address for the video portion of the unit EX: 192.168.200.11(factory default) Full viewing capability is now available as well as full camera control. You may need to update your Java by installing the Java VM program included on the CD.

I can connect and can see the Bosch control panel, but no video only a green screen. What is wrong?
You are missing a video driver that is supplied by the Manufacture of the PC, visit the support site for the PC you own and download a new video driver.

When using the Security Client, can more than one user access the program?
Yes the port server can handle multiple users.

Can I connect more than one Blackhawk together to allow multiple views on one IP address connection?
Yes, by setting one unit to be the Access point and all the others as Stations (limit 6 stations total PC's included, condition dependant) This is an advanced user function and should only be done by trained technicians.

Can I connect my Blackhawk to be viewed from the Web?
Yes, with the help of an IT professional using a wireless router and an open connection to the web through a Cable or DSL modem. Once again this is an advanced user function.

Can I use my Blackhawk indoors?
Yes, by simply turning off the battery switch to the engine function, you can safely operate your unit for a few days before charging would be necessary.

Can I hardwire my Blackhawk for use in a network that does not offer a wireless connection?
Yes, by adding a Cat 5 cable (up to 1000m long) to the Cat 5 connection on the pod you can view all the functions of Blackhawk on a Local PC (using a static IP in the LAN settings) or over a network with IT support. This is an advanced user function.
